Born and raised in the Chattanooga area, I have been a lifelong resident, aside from my time in the Army. I have raised my family here and am deeply committed to supporting our local community. I actively sponsor local Girl Scouts as well as middle and high school sports teams, including football and softball. I firmly believe in giving back to the community that supports us.
My wife, Nancy, has been an integral part of this company since day one. She was the one who encouraged me to take the leap and start this business, helped me set it up, and has stood by my side through every challenge and success. Today, she is truly the backbone of our daily operations—running the office, keeping me organized, and ensuring our entire crew stays on task. I genuinely don’t know where I would be without her support, dedication, and unwavering belief in what we’re building together.
I entered the industry over 30 years ago, beginning my journey with commercial doors at a local company. After recovering from an accident, I transitioned back into machine shops and fabrication, while also taking on residential garage door repairs and installations as a side venture.
10 years ago, I found myself turning down garage door jobs to maintain my 9-to-5 position. With the kids grown and no debts, it became clear that the time was right to take the leap and establish a legitimate business. We purchased our first truck for $1,200 and gradually built our company, step by step, while minimizing debt. Nearly two years ago, Nancy left her full-time job, and today we operate from two fully enclosed warehouses and have four company trucks, with further expansion on the horizon.
Our lead installer, Jeremy, has been with us for over seven years. Daniel joined our team over a year ago. We have plans to bring on at least two more installers in the near future. Currently, we service approximately 25 home builders, 15 house flippers, and around 10 home warranty and property management groups, in addition to our residential clientele.
